Fun ways to use Craigslist

by admin on July 29, 2008

I had a ball chatting with Debbie Alan on On The Homestretch about one of my all-time favorite things — Craigslist! The logo above will take you to the radio interview.

Some quick fun facts from the interview:

  • There is a 78% increase in the number of folks who use Craigslist now over last year
  • More than 40 million people buy, sell, barter, trade and communicate through Craigslist all over the world!
  • Did you know you can use Craigslist to:
    • Swap your home permanently for another one somewhere else?
    • Get advice on what is wrong with your pet who is acting sick?
    • Get someone to haul away your used moving boxes after you’re finished (good for the environment to recyle too!) — post it in the “free” section?
    • Find a good job?
    • Find someone to do work for you?

I’d love to hear from creative people that have found other fun ways to use Craigslist (there are some sections I simply don’t venture into and don’t necessarily want to know a lot about!).
